Abstract: L’approche par les sites symboliques d’appartenance met en avant l’idée du respect de la diversité des groupes humains dans la mesure où qu’aucun modèle d’analyse et d’action particulièrement en économie et en gestion ne peut s’affranchir de la prise en compte des spécificités identitaires. L’épuisement progressif des concepts phares du progrès tel qu’il a été institué depuis l’avènement du capitalisme encourage une révision déchirante dans la façon d’aborder les problèmes économiques et sociaux des sociétés contemporaines. Les échecs cumulatifs de l’aventure du développement et de la mondialisation dans la majeure partie des pays de l’hémisphère Sud et la crise profonde des pays qui se postulaient comme modèle incitent à une plus grande prudence quant à la validité de nos connaissances dans les sciences sociales sur la situation et l’avenir du monde. The approach through the symbolic sites of belonging puts forward the necessity to take account of human groups diversity in economic and management sciences. The gradual loss of sense of the economic concepts encourages the development of new methods of analysis of economic and social problems in contemporary economies. The studies of southern economists and the deep crisis of countries which considered themselves as models, give incentives to the development of a plural analysis of the world's situation and future.
