What are the consequences of Internet and ICT on the organisation’s principles and among individuals that are working inside the organisation? How to reveal the new structure, the new culture and procedure which have appeared? What are the clues to motivate and stimulate individuals in this new environment? What kind of management should be driven? In the past there were sociologists and others researchers who wanted to understand and identify the strong changes at the time of those economic, technological and social ruptures, especially Douglas McGregor (Theory X, Y) and William Ouchi (Theory Z). Max Weber has built a tool called idealtype (a purely caricatural pattern) in order to have a fixed point in the complexity of the reality and to estimate the gap between the constructed idealtype and the reality. Our research will try to put the idealtype theory into practice in order to “catch” the impact of ICT on organisational principles.
