Abstract:
China opened two national Stock Markets at the beginning of the 1990’s. In this article, we present the system of the Stock Exchange in China. Initially, we introduce the general framework (procedures of quotation, different types of shares and the legal framework). Then, we present the key figures of the Chinese Stock Markets (at the end of 2003). The financial market of this country is on an ascendent trend, but it is still fragile. It's evolution depends on international markets indicators.
