Abstract: The determinants of football clubs’ performance results, according to the Russian Premier League in 2013–2017 seasons, are investigated by econometric modeling on the base of panel data. The performance of the football club as the ratio of the number of earned points to possible points significantly depends on the size of its budget. The strength of attack and the strength of defense are approximately equally important for the performance of the team. Average attendance depends significantly and positively of the performance of clubs.
