Abstract:
Reconciling work and family life is at the heart of social, cultural and economic issues. The round-table focuses on the role of social actors in this challenge emphasizing the risk of flexibility. The role of social partners in the introduction of concrete measures at the workplace is examined. The implication of local authorities in the development of services adapted to the flexible needs of families is also examined. Finally the paper highlights the increase of the care sector and personal services responsibilities in answering at the reconciliation family and work pressure.
