Abstract:
Working on the Forrester's system dynamics theory, we present the transformation principle of causal diagrams into automata networks. We also show in this paper the complementarity of the continuous models and the discrete automata networks with the same objective of analyzing the dynamic proprieties of complex systems. We demonstrate this method through the application of elementary production cell modeling. Finally, we present some research perspectives in the field of industrial management.
