Abstract:
The study examined the relationship between technological innovation and academic entrepreneurship. The broad objective of this study was to investigate the relationship between technological innovation and academic entrepreneurship while the specific objectives amongst other are to investigate the relationship between academic entrepreneurship and information and communication technology and to also examine the relationship between technological innovation and entrepreneurship development. A survey was used through simple random sampling technique drawn from a sample of one hundred and thirty two (132) respondents comprising of owners of different SMEs in Ikeja local government area. Relevant data was obtained through the administration of questionnaires and was analyzed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation on statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) to test the hypotheses. The major findings of the study shows that there is positive significant relationship between technological innovation and entrepreneurship development( r = 0.356, df = 130, p = 0.00
