The study used regression technique to analyse the primary data collected for the study through the use of a five-point Likert scale structured questionnaire. Analysis was done in SPSS statistical software. The study found that a positive but insignificant effect of empathy on employees' performance in selected DMBs in Nasarawa state, while there was a strong, positive and significant effect of relationship management on employees' performance in selected DMBs in Nasarawa state. The study therefore recommends that management of DMBs should develop an organizational wide approach of bringing the employees closer to each other like organizing get-together activities, end of year parties and other social events, and Employees should be given more orientation as to how to be able to predict and respond in different situations, change, events and effectively handle these reactions
