No 24-24, Policy Analyses from Korea Institute for International Economic Policy

India has pursued a unique, government-led model of digital transformation that stands in contrast to the market-driven approaches of many advanced economies. While other countries have relied on large tech firms to build their digital infrastructure, India has taken the lead in designing and operating its digital ecosystem through state-developed Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI). This model has become central to the country’s broader economic and social modernization. (the rest omitted)
