Abstract:
This research aims to determine how new technology use affects artisans' output in Akure, Ondo State, and Southwest Nigeria. What perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived trust, and facilitating conditions affect artisans' output, and whether behavioral intention mediated between these variables and artisans' output. This study used a survey design method, which relies on primary data. Three hundred fifty respondents were selected at random using a self-administered questionnaire. The descriptive statistics were determined using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), while Smart PLS V4.0.8.5 was used to calculate the quantitative research inferential statistics. This study supported earlier theoretical perspectives to create a new conceptual framework. It also endorsed the modified framework because the results showed a substantial correlation between the endogenous and exogenous variables. The study, however, suggested that the government need to implement mechanisms to supply new tools, engage in technology transfer from developed nations, and compel money deposit institutions to lend to artisans.
