Abstract:
People’s incredulity to governmental organizations, private companies, and in some cases, to nongovernmental organizations is the result of two determinants: external and internal. Due to the external causes (market’s necessity, globalization, postmodernist ideologies, digitalization, etc.), and to the internal causes (political, financial, and economic weakness, social rupture, lack of interest, etc.), social potentialities have been neglected, since they are considered as intrinsic expressions of society, and not as regional development factors. Therefore, the research’s goal is to emphasize that not only the economic aspect is the main value to evaluate the life quality of a community, but making a point of social alternatives in order to give rise to the integral development in a region.
