Abstract:
Romania’s economic progress over the past 30 years, marked by a tenfold increase in GDP and a significant rise in Harvard’s Economic Complexity Index, compared with the age of Competition Law no. 21/1996 and the rapid changes of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, highlights the need for new regulations to protect free competition in a complex economy. A potential theoretical model was outlined in 2019 by Professor Ioannis Lianos.
