Abstract:
Concerns about costs and greenhouse gas emissions are increasingly becoming major driving forces towards a greater efficient usage of energy for wastewater treatment. This article describes a few initiatives for energy saving and energy recovery within the wwtp, aiming towards and beyond Zero Net Energy Wastewater Treatment.
