Abstract:
The article presents the analysis of the causes that lead to measurement deviations of the counters used at water branch debit calculation. The author presents the evaluation of the starting flow deviations and also the evaluations of the minimum, transient and nominal flows. It is a theoretical model verified by the results of an 146 branches area experiment. In this specific area, it is applied a statistic analysis model, proving that by choosing 10 branch counter measurements is enough to establish the deviations of the whole 146 counters. The theoretical model leads to a deviation of 25,262% , comparing to the experimental model that calculates a 30,4% deviation. There are also presented several suggestions for increasing the precision of the theoretical model of evaluating the measurement deviations.
