Assessing the effectiveness of biological processes in sewage plant

Ioan Constantin and Dan Niculae Robescu

Romaqua, 2015, vol. 104, issue 6, 38-43

Abstract: The study presents the results obtained from the monitoring influent and effluent parameters of an fully functional wastewater treatment plant. Knowing these results simulations were developed considering several load and flow values an profiles, in order to evaluate the performance of wastewater pollutants removal. The purpose of the paper is to determine if in the studied loads and flows range the WWTP is able to remove the pollyutants while mantaining an high efficiency.
