Abstract:
The enterprises of oil-processing industry are serious sources of pollution air and water basins. In technological processes of oil refining sewageare formed. They demand special cleaning before dumping them in sewer systems – it is enough expense capacious process. The main objective of this research is toidentify dependence between costs of sewage treatment and payment for excess environmental pollution of one of the Russian oil processing enterprise by means of the correlation and regression analysis. Researches showed that the size of the sum paid for excess pollution is in inverse relation from the sum of the investments spent for sewage treatment. The enterprises of an oil and gas complex received some economic interest of investment of capital on actions for environment protection. Consequently, positive dynamics not only amounts of works is observed, where the enterprises see the economic benefit, but also costs of sewage treatment at oil refining. It, undoubtedly, will lead to decrease in ecological damage from activity of an oil and gas complex.
