Abstract: The annual financial reports of the DAX 30 companies of 2014 show that the groups aim to a better market position, profit increase, or assurance of prosperity with the help of future programs and initiatives. This article will provide an overview to what extent and which characteristics groups have future programs and what their goals are, shown at examples like centralization or Shared Service initiatives. This refers not only to the goals, but also to the implementation measures fitted, like costcutting programs, digitalization, or innovation topics.
