Abstract: The reorganization of the education sector in the country is aimed at improving the quality of training in accordance with the requirements of the national economy. Features of functioning of industry specific universities demand special approaches to the solution of the problems concerning their interaction with possible employers. The current specifics of the relationship forms a strong dependence of the intellectual potential of the industry on the quality of the academic staff of universities and the interest of industrial enterprises in its development. In this regard, the indicators used to calculate the rating of the University should be updated for enterprises as well. The existing imperfect interaction between economic entities and universities leads to negative phenomena. Under these conditions, there is a need to develop a simulation model of interaction between industry-specific universities and enterprises and determine on its basis the most effective solutions for organization of communications. The article introduces general provisions on the research topic concerning the interaction of the branch University and the enterprises of the branch. The review of the scientific directions of the authors studying various aspects of interaction of universities and enterprises, employment of graduates is given. Attention is drawn to the limitations of research in terms of the specifics of such interaction in the industry. The importance of the University activities for the formation and maintenance of the intellectual capital of the industry is emphasized. On the basis of the analysis the article considers the directions of improving the forms of interaction between universities and structural units of the industry. The introduced model of interaction between industry-specific universities and enterprises including the forms of their interaction allow introducing efficient decisions in future that will provide qualified graduates and thus competitive employees for that branch of industry. The presented materials reveal the possibilities of the developed model for managerial decisionmaking on the interaction of industry-specific universities and enterprises.
