Abstract:
The article is aimed at studying the features of the motivational process of young professionals for admission and consolidation in the civil service in the Republic of Komi. As the main research methods, the author used logical, comparative, structural and functional analysis of sources, focus groups and express survey in social networks. The author, as a result of the study, managed to prove a lack of attractiveness of public service for young professionals. At the same time, the problem of motivation of civil servants in the context conditions of the lack of qualified personnel and aging of the state apparatus is revealed. It is found out that the problem of motivation is relevant not only for existing civil servants, but also for persons training in the relevant areas and preparing to enter the civil service. The author conducted a number of studies and surveys that confirm the general hypothesis and identify some gaps that prevent the involvement of young people in the civil service of the Republic of Komi. In addition, the importance of the work of the state authorities of the Republic of Komi on the motivation and involvement of young personnel in the civil service of the region is substantiated.
