Abstract: Issues of legal personality of an individual entrepreneur were addressed in the domestic legal literature. Analysis of domestic doctrine allows us to identify several critical issues of their legal status: the moment of emergence and termination of legal personality, the age of commencement of entrepreneurial activities, issues of individual entrepreneur’s capacity in general, the separation of personal, family property and property used in entrepreneurial activity, the relationship with self-employment. The implementation of these approaches has some differences in Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. This article is a comparative legal study of the legal status of individual entrepreneurs in these countries. Interest in them is due to integration within the EAEU and, therefore, the need to harmonize legislation in the area under study.
