Abstract: The aim of the present work is to present a systematic analysis of the process of ethnic monopolization of professional activity as a form of civil discrimination; to outline the role of government labour policy in promoting interethnic peace as means of regulating personnel processes and relations in the labour market; to suggest ways, means, and instruments for combating ethnic monopolization of different types of professional activity in Russian multinational society. First of all, we have developed theoretical basis for analysis of ethnic monopolization of professional activity in Russian multinational society. Our study provides a sociological justification for the need to combat the ethnic monopolization of professional activities. In our paper, we have analyzed legal and organizational mechanisms for prevention of ethnic monopolization of professional activity. Secondly, we have studied the state of social and ethnic structure of population from the perspective of labor policy. We have analyzed mechanisms and technologies that could be used to improve regional policy in a multinational society. Thirdly, we have outlined manifestations of ethnic monopolization of professional activity in Russian development companies. We have also analyzed dynamics of migration processes as a factor of ethnic monopolization of professional activity in Russian multinational society.
