Abstract: One of the most urgent and priority problems in the modern world is the counteraction to the financing of terrorism and the legalization of criminal proceeds. In Russia, this issue has always been closely monitored by the state. The development of methods of financial monitoring using modern technologies, especially in credit organizations, has recently received increasing attention both in our country and in world practice. The article describes the existing methods of financial monitoring used in commercial banks of Russia, identified the main shortcomings of these methods, considered ways to improve using modern technologies.
