Abstract: The author substantiates the thesis about the inadequacy of the typology of negative and positive opposition of the relations of the individual to society and the state the example of the political and scientific biography of the famous philosopher P. M. Abomina-Egides. This thinker was a the-orist who relied on the practice of Soviet and Russian society and his personal social practice. His socialist-self-government activities included the creation of a unique author's theoretical concept of self-government, military and camp experience, specific management of the collective farm, teaching at the University, the organization of the dissident magazine "Search", the organization of the "workers' self-government party". He was an integral opposition self-governing person, disobeying both the Soviet state and the regime of B. N. Yeltsin, and the dissident community. All this gives special importance to his dissident opposition activity, practically to all his theoretical innovations, makes them verified and evidential and deserves to be considered as a significant contribution to the world theory and practice of socialism.
