Abstract: In this article the gender specifics of family culture of modern Dagestan youth are considered. Empirical verification is allowed to come to the conclusion that there are not fundamental gender differences in the family culture of the youth of Dagestan, with the exception of the evaluation of the archaic intentions in the development of family and marriage sector of the Dagestan society, and also to prove that the modernization of family values and norms, penetrating into the family culture of the youth of Dagestan do not affect its basic grounds, which ensures stable and relatively safe development of the family sector of the Dagestan society.
