Abstract: The article analyzes the current situation around the fundamental trends of Islam. The modern world, including Russia, Turkey and European countries, is facing problems of growing Islamic radicalism. The article reflects the main reasons for the radicalization of young Muslims. Special attention is paid to the spread of radical movements in prisons. The article also reflects the reasons for the spread of Islamic fundamentalism and its current situation in Russia and Turkey.
