Abstract:
This article presents a review of dissertation research on such an urgent problem as social inequality. Various aspects of this problem are investigated. It emphasizes the importance of the problem of social inequality for Rus-sian society, which is due to the polarization of its population and the lack of government mechanisms for regulating equitable access to social resources. The greatest importance is given to education as a factor of vertical social mobility. However, according to the author, there is no comprehensive study of the adaptation of students to social inequality, the assessment of the sociocultural sphere of educational organizations, designed to facilitate the successful integration of young people into the social space of Russian community.
