Abstract: The article substantiates the need to study the issues of intellectual security. The authors classify the most likely security threats in the intellectual sphere and identify threats to Russia's intellectual security. The study of science-based principles of building an intellectual security system allowed us to formulate the key components of this system and suggest ways to neutralize threats to intellectual security.
