Abstract: The article discusses the features of state financial control in the Russian Federation at the present stage. The analysis of statistics of financial offenses over the past 6 years is carried out, the problem of improving the efficiency of the state control system over the expenditure of financial resources is highlighted, the ways of solving them are determined to determine promising areas for improving financial control in Russia. The article was prepared on the basis of the empirical information of the Report on the work of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation and the data of the analytical review “RBC” and “Newspaper Kommersant”.
