Abstract: The article is devoted to the actual analysis of the “digital economy” influence on modern condition of the Russian economy, on the problem of shifting to a new qualitative level that meets the demands of the modern digital civilization. The author offers a number of particularly practical suggestions to adapt the Russian economy to the new intellectual and information era. The large-scale technological changes are accompanied by the development of the society institutional structure.
