Abstract: This article explores e-government systems, in particular e-democracy, gives a definition of the concept, considers the types of e-democracy, the goals of this system, the risks of implementation and imperfections in the current development environment of the digital economy. The level of development of information and communication technologies and the dependence of e-democracy on these technologies are also investigated.
