Abstract:
The article presents the results of the questionnaire survey of the students of Rostov-on-Don and Rostov Region conducted in 2019 by the employees of the Southern Federal University together with the scientists from the Southern Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Science. The analysis of the obtained empirical material allowed to detect significant changes in students' consciousness, in comparison with the previous study of 2015. The basic changes show the strengthening of the basic concepts of the left liberal ideology with the parallel shift of the right radical concepts towards the left center concepts of social justice, equality, etc. In general, interviewed students are characterized by disbelief in politics as a means of solving of the existing problems and, as a result, political apathy and particularism. The results of the study can be used for the comparative analysis and forecasting of ideological guidelines of Russian students, as well as for the work of administrations and rectorates of universities.
