Abstract: The article discusses the key features and characteristics of the process of formation of the educational space of the national state on the example of China and Singapore. Special attention is paid to the internationalization of the education sector, the creation of its qualification framework, the use and consideration of local characteristics and resources, the attraction and retention of scientific personnel.
