Abstract: The relevance of this article is due to the fact that the historically conflicting relations between Russia and Turkey in recent years have been updated and received an unexpected impetus for bilateral development. The authors examine the specifics of these relations through the problem of conflict in the Syrian Arab Republic. Rogov I.I. and Faraponova T.K. consistently consider the history of the issue of relations between Russia and Turkey, proceed to the analysis of topical issues, showing the widest possible range of interactions between the two countries in the space of the Syrian conflict. The analysis of the accumulated problems and the current state of affairs allowed the authors to conclude that the relations between the two countries are at the stage of a careful search for the basis for future strategic cooperation. This article is the second in a series of articles in which the most relevant aspects of the inter-action of the Russian Federation and the Turkish Republic are analyzed.
