Abstract: The article analyzes the influence of political activity on the formation of political consciousness among political subjects and social groups of society, as well as the relationship, role and importance of political activity and the development of political consciousness. The political consciousness is examined through the prism of political activity in the political process as a factor and the basis for the creation of the political environment by political actors and, in particular, the ruling elite. The author determines importance and significance of political activity as a factor of the development of political consciousness and its individual types in the process of activity of political subjects and the ruling elite in the political system of society.
