Abstract: The article examines the specifics of modernization processes in the context of the tasks of reforming the Russian socio-economic model. Theoretical approaches used by developed and developing countries in the framework of modern transformations are considered. The analysis is carried out taking into account many modern challenges and the need to preserve historical identity.
