Abstract: The purpose of this article is to analyze the socio-psychological impact of the pandemic and the introduced system of restrictive measures on traumatizing the social health of the population. Among the restrictive measures are considered: self-isolation; requirements for compliance with sanitary and epidemiological rules, which entailed certain forms of social stratification; social distancing requirements; transfer to a remote mode of operation. The authors conclude that the pandemic has seriously damaged the social health of many sections of the Russian population, exacerbating their inequality.
