Abstract: The article reflects the advantages of forming economic clusters, especially in the field of tourism. The possibilities of forming tourist-recreational and balneological clusters in the Chechen Republic are considered, taking into account the available tourist-recreational resources and potential, and the positive trends that have emerged in the development of the complex are highlighted. Special attention, according to the author, should be paid to the development of the sanatorium-resort complex. The development of tourism should be considered as a priority, entailing the development of the entire socio-cultural sphere of the region, including the improvement of infrastructure, the preservation of heritage and care for the environment.
