Abstract:
The article examines the development of the out-of-school education system in the early years of Soviet government after the October Revolution and in the present. The article is based on the methodological principles of historicism, institutional and systems approaches, social design and modeling, social engineering. The novelty of the work foremost lies in the presentation of the innovative educational institute «The EcoStation» in the system of additional education. Author concludes about the importance of the institution of out-of-school education at the present stage.
