Abstract: Introduction: The problem of the relationship between objective indicators of the quality of life, social tension and protest activity has been the subject of academic discourse, especially since the early 2010s. At the same time, the objective characteristics of these relationships are interdisciplinary and remain poorly understood. In this regard, the purpose of the article is to identify the relationship between the quality of life and various socio-demographic characteristics that affect the satisfaction of Russian citizens based on data from the European Social Survey. Methods: multiple regression analysis, cluster analysis. Results and conclusions: Upon completion of the study, we can conclude that satisfaction with the quality of life is influenced by microfactors and macrofactors. Satisfaction and how residents depend on many coefficients of factors: composition from all levels of chosen income, averages from respondents to the structure to evaluate families (having their own children), to assess from difficult marital status, health police, health confidence, etc. According to the relationship of health care between the quality of the level of happiness of one's respondent's happiness and the conclusion of satisfaction with the first quality one can see one's own other life.
