Abstract: The information age has opened up wide opportunities for influencing the public consciousness of the masses, but the expansion of cyberspace and social communication channels has given terrorism new opportunities to spread violence. It has been proven: a) the state policy of countering terrorism should be of a proactive nature of blocking terrorist activities in cyberspace; b) digital technologies currently constitute the same power and power resource as traditional institutions of education and religion. Measures are proposed to overcome the destructive media impact of terrorism in the information space.
