Abstract: Introduction. The modern healthcare system is undergoing significant changes due to the processes of digital transformation, which requires not only deep professional knowledge from medical professionals, but also rapid adaptation to innovations, developed communication and digital skills. Purpose. To identify the key competencies of the doctor of the future, determine the importance of soft skills in professional activity and analyze the impact of digital technologies on medical practice. Materials and methods. As part of the study, semi–structured expert interviews with 10 specialists were conducted in November-December 2024: doctors, healthcare organizers and developers of digital services. The interviews consisted of three thematic blocks covering issues of digital transformation, changing the role of a doctor, and evaluating the digital competence model. Results. Experts identify three key areas of transformation of the doctor's role: integration and critical interpretation of patient data; development of partner communication and patient involvement in the treatment process; the need for psychological stability of the doctor. Experts also note the role of soft skills: emotional intelligence, stress tolerance, and the ability to think critically - as important factors in the adoption of digital change. The development of hard skills, including skills in working with information systems, voice and blind input, as well as interaction with artificial intelligence, is becoming a prerequisite for professional growth. Conclusions. The digital transformation of medicine requires doctors to combine technical, communication, and analytical skills. Therefore, in educational programs, it is necessary to increase attention to the development of soft skills, integrating them into the learning process. The formation of a comprehensive medical training system will help reduce anxiety levels, increase professional satisfaction, and improve the quality of medical care.
