Abstract: The article is devoted to the problem of culture regeneration. It is argued that the main mechanism of regeneration is interpretation (transmutation). In the educational system, the possibilities of interpretation are very great. For effective work of the interpretation machine, at least two educational strategies are needed – humanitarization and futurization. The synergy of these strategies is a condition for the functioning of the interpretation machine and the regeneration of culture.
