Abstract: “Cultural integration” is considered to be the most important aspect of philosophic-theological reflection of Protestantism in Vietnam in modern times. It appeared in the search of ways to solve the problem of this confession contradiction with the beliefs of indigenous people in the process of Evangelization. Before starting to analyze the main philosophic-theological postulates of Vietnamese Protestantism it is necessary to define its ideological sources. In this regard the author analyzes the influence of evangelicalism, movement “For three self-dependences” of Chinese Protestantism, western philosophers’ views on culture, experience of cultural integration of Vietnamese Catholicism.
