AXIOLOGICAL ASPECT OF THE PROBLEM OF SOCIAL ISOLATION IN THE PHILOSOPHICAL GENESIS

Abstract:
Introduction. The article considers the philosophical genesis of the problem of social isolation. The author reveals Its features through the correlation of value orientations and communicative interaction between an individual and society in a historical context. The aim of this study is to solve the following tasks: 1) to identify the key reasons for a citizen’s not participating in a social process in different historical periods; 2) to determine the nature of axiological disintegration in society; 3) to analyze the interdependence of the communication process and values established in the social system; 4) to establish meaningful context of social disharmony in an individual and state relations. Methods. The author uses the method of historical and comparative analysis, a systematic method that makes it possible to correlate local manifestations of social distance in the public sphere with the conceptual tendency of social isolation, presented in philosophical theories. Scientific novelty of the study. The author presents a new interpretation of the moral dominant in the process of human isolation from social reality in the philosophical genesis of the problem of social isolation. Results. The author specifies a citizen’s social existence and highlights its influence on destructive motivation of participating in social processes. The author determines the factors preventing an individual from social realization; analyzes the role of moral determination in the social system functioning and its transformation in the context of social conflict. Conclusions. The general trends in analyzing the problem of social isolation in philosophical genesis are revealed in the following ideas: 1) misunderstanding the standards between the social partners due to the gap in the semantic identity; 2) imbalance between internalism and externalism of the moral paradigms; 3) absence of dialogics in the social process; 4) identifying new conventional standards of interaction between an individual and society.
