Abstract:
In recent years we have witnessed that the security environment faces new types of challenges and threats; the nations have to face unpredictable situations and the crisis management field is characterized by the ability of adapting to new requirements, maintaining a continuous development and finding suitable methods to face the new challenges. During the crisis situations, the knowledge management practices are required to select, organize and distribute the information and the knowledge effectively. The societies need to face these rapid changes and the necessity of maintaining a secure and stable environment reveals the importance of the knowledge role.
