Abstract: "Image" has become anextensively used term nowadays with reference to the manner in which social actors are perceived in the public sphere. Public image has thus become an indicator for popularity and social success. The phrase "public image" is omnipresent in social, political, economic and scientific communication, usually in connection with social standards such as notoriety, prestige and reputation.
