Abstract: Human resource management (HRM) plays a vital role in the field of public health, where effective management of human capital is crucial for delivering quality healthcare services and ensuring positive population health outcomes. This scientific article explores the unique challenges facing HRM in the public health sector and examines strategies to manage human resources effectively. Through an in-depth analysis of key areas of HRM in public health, including workforce planning, recruitment and retention, training and development, performance management, and leadership development, the article sheds light on the critical factors that influence HRM in the context of public health. It highlights the importance of adopting strategic HRM approaches that align with public health goals, improve organizational performance, and improve the overall health system. By providing insights into evidence-based practices and successful case studies, this article serves as a valuable resource for policymakers, practitioners, and researchers seeking to optimize HRM in the public health sector and contribute to the delivery of quality healthcare services and improved population health outcomes.
