Bogdan-Mihai Fratila and Constanta Popescu

Proceedings of the INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE, 2024, vol. 18, issue 1, 315-326

Abstract: The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations organized in county emergency units/inspectors, like other entities, operate in a turbulent environment. One of the special features that sets it apart from other nonprofit institutions is its dominant culture. Organizational culture seems to be a determining factor of the successful operation of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, which implies the achievement of its social goals. In the practical functioning of an organization, the existence of an organizational culture seems to be a priority. Organizational culture is one of the most important factors affecting both human resource management and performance management within the organization.
