Abstract: This research examines the relationship between the level of digitalisation of SMEs and the uptake of energy-saving measures in various European countries. Using data from the Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI) 2023 and a 2024 survey conducted by the European Commission, the study examines the percentage of SMEs with a basic level of digitalisation and the percentage of those implementing energy efficiency measures. Pearson correlation analysis was applied to assess whether digitalisation influences energy savings in SMEs.
