Local Government Policy and Poverty in Indonesia

Abstract: This paper intends to evaluate some local policy, by means of (1) to evaluate policy and public affairs, through three stages, a) what is the problem; b) What factors are causing the problem; and c) whether the policy is held to resolve the problem; and (2) that connects public policy provisions to implement poverty reduction programs.The conclusion of this discussion is Increasing Every Regional Regulation regional revenue but also creates high costs, impact is a decrease in fish production, a decrease in the income of fishermen and add a Termination of Employment, does not reduce poverty, declining impact of business climate, lower employment and income, and not reduce poverty, Many regulations are not clear what form the service
